The EGT Diamond System by STI is an easy-to-follow, 8-step dry concrete polishing system that surpasses all expectations. Made only of high quality materials according to STI’s strict standards, EGTs are guaranteed for long life & fast results, which equal HUGE savings in time and money.
Unlike coatings that wear off, the EGT system (as well as all of STI’s diamond systems) create a TRUE mechanical shine. There is absolutely NO need for a guard to add that "pop" to the final floor. The EGT shine lasts for years and requires much less maintenance to maintain the beauty of the floor.
The EGT diamonds are a 3-inch diameter, coordinated metal- and resin-bonded diamond system that produces a polished concrete floor using any of the eight models of Prep/Master® machines or similar style rotary grinder.
The system is to be used dry only and in sequence as numbered by tools #1 through #8. All tools are painted green or use green velcro backings to indicate a matched system.
Approximate life of the EGT metal-bonds is 30,000-35,000 SF. Approximate life of the EGT resin-bonds is between 10,000-20,000 SF depending on the #pad and condition of the floor. (Refer to the EGT Technical Data Sheet on STI’s website for more detailed information.)
